This pillow cover is from highest quality lightweight vintage Japanese kimono wool combined with new ecologically clean undyed and unbleached light grey linen at the back. A printed abstract geometric pin-line pattern in white with tiny simple flowers here and there branching out, some in white and some in red. Complex background colour which is primarily blue with a hint of teal. This unique minimalist cover would make a great addition to any contemporary home.
Note on the main fabric. The wool I used at the front is yet another stunning example of Japanese fabric design. I am lucky to have the entire bolt which is approximately 11m x 37cm (ca. 13 yards x14.5'') wide and which is the amount of fabric required to make one full kimono, or ca. 20 pillow covers.
Care instructions: wash cold as wool. Iron on the linen side. May be dry cleaned.
The cover in the photos fits a standard size insert 60x40cm (16x24'') (insert not included). It is ready to ship. Any other sizes are made to order.
Please note that covers are made ca. 2cm (1") smaller than the inserts for best fit. Other sizes are available made to order. Please allow up to 3 days for making.
Please note because of the fabric width pillow covers wider than 14'' will have a linen insert on one side, as shown in the last photo.
