Rare Pair of 1950s Art Deco table lamps, green glass, brass

Out of stock

Rare pair of accent table lamps from 1950s in a mixture of Art Deco / midcentury modern style. Muted sage-green lampshades with stripes of clear and frosted glass. Very substantial shiny gold-tone metal (brass) bases.

A timeless design. These lamps would make a statement in a bedroom, living room, hallway or office.

DIMENSIONS: height of lamps ca. 32cm (ca. 12.59'').
Lampshades: ca. 24cm (9.44'') diameter
Weight of the pair: ca. 2.7kg (5lb 15.24oz).

CONDITION: Good used condition overall. Tarnishing on the metal. Glass is intact with the exception of a couple of tiny flea bite chips on the rims. Light switches on the cables.

ELECTRICS: The lamps have been rewired in the past with black cloth cables, have European two-pin plugs. We have no manufacturer's specifications for these lamps but presume they are wired for European mains 210-250V. The lamps are sold "as is" and must be checked by electrician prior to use for your safety.

Please note: glass lampshades may be packed separately for their safety in transit and will need to be reassembled. The slender light bulb fixtures sit in slender metal brackets and can be taken out just a couple of cm, enough to allow for the light bulbs to be screwed in. Each lamp takes 2 light bulbs (use low wattage (40w) standard small/short E27 ES (Edison) bulbs - not included).
